The degree requires 60 liberal arts and sciences credits and 63 degree specific credits including networking, programming, ethical hacking, contingency planning, digital forensics, cybersecurity defense, and cryptology.
The program prepares students to assess computer and network system security needs, recommend safeguard solutions, and manage security devices, systems, and procedures.
Students can complete the degree in 4 semesters if transferring in with a completed associates degree in computer science, networking, or security fields. Some students may require additional time to complete the program depending on the number and type of college credits transferred in.
